Fun day at motocross event

Administrator, Graeme Wild, said it was the most successful event in the series thus far as there was a total of 27 riders.

Roaring engines, petrol fumes and dust were the order of the day at the third edition of the Greenbus KZN Grassroots Initiative motocross event held at Galleria MX Park on Sunday, October 3.

Since the rain had let off for the day, spectators were out in numbers to enjoy the outdoors and cheer on the young riders. Administrator, Graeme Wild, said it was the most successful thus far as there was a total of 27 riders, a considerable growth from the 15 who participated in the first one. Young riders participated in the PW50, PW80, 50cc and 65cc categories.

The next event will be held at the Highstakes track in Cato Ridge on the first week of November.

“Motocross moms and dads like having a change in scenery so that the riders can experience different types of tracks.”
