THE Clear Waters Spur Steak Ranch men’s 2-4-2 took place at Winklespruit Bowling Club (WBC) last week and it was Barry Hilton and Mike Kruger who were overall winners.

The second session prize went to Steve Evenwell and Shawn Sutherland. George Cormack won the 100 board. Thanks to all the players who participated. To Sandy Hilton, Lorna Sourgen and Linda de Waal, thank you for ensuring the players’ refreshments and eats were available.

Thanks to the sponsor, Clear Waters Spur Steak Ranch, for its continued sponsorship.

In the 2-4-2 mixed pairs Elmarie Young and Nevile Rosco beat Keith Holmes and Shelia Court and moved into the next round. Well done to Elmarie and Nevile and good luck in the final.

Social bowls continue every Wednesday and Friday, tabs in at 13:30 for 14:00. Note the surcharge for refreshments on social bowls days.

On Friday, October 29, the club will host a curry and rice evening at 17:30 for 18:00. The list will be on the board.
