Toti hosts the best of SA athletes

Amanzimtoti Athletics Club (AAC) hosted athletes from around the country for the 2021 South African Cross Country Championships at the Hutchison Park sports field. The event started on Friday, September 17 and ended the following day.

“The event was well attended by officials of athletics associations from around the country. The feedback from KZN Athletics and Athletics South Africa was complementary. Amanzimtoti Athletics Club would like to thank all the volunteers and organisers involved in making the event such a success. We would also like to congratulate our club members who represented KZN in their respective races,” said AAC secretary, Jodine Momberg.

Amanzimtoti Athletics Club members’ results:

Thobekile Zama – 21st (women 35-49)

Evan Grobler – 37th (boys U10)

Dow Kruger – 9th (boys U11)

Nathan Haylock – 36th (boys U19)

Magnumos Makhanya – 43rd (boys U16)

Sbongakonke Shozi – 56th (boys U16)

Hannes De Beer – 33rd (boys U15)
