Winkle bowlers enjoy John Dory mixed trips

THE John Dory monthly mixed trips was held at Winklespruitwinkl Bowling Club on Saturday morning, 27 February, followed by a bring and braai that was well supported by the players and friends alike.
Thanks to the committee members who gave up their time in ensuring that the tournament ran smoothly. Thanks to the bar and the committee for supplying the charcoal for the fires. Last but not least, thank you to John Dory’s for its sponsorship.
Overall winners of the John Dory mixed trips were Mike Kruger, Tokkie de Kock and Di Kruger. Second session prize winners were Wessie van der Westhuizen, André Gelderbloom and Maureen Griffen. The 100 board was won by Stella Erasmus.

Social bowls every Wednesday and Friday afternoon. Tabs in between 2pm and 2.20pm.
The members club draw was made on Friday, 26 February, and Margie van Belkum’s name was drawn, but she was not present so the prize is carried over to the next draw.
The club’s president, committee and members wish the following members; Sheila Court, Mike Kruger, Henry Potter, Shirley and Barrie de Wee a blessed and healthy year.
