“Karate requires a lot of time for training. With the demands of school, it is hard work to maintain the balance between school and practice. At times training is seven days a week, only finishing at 9pm and then I still have to complete my school work after training. A lot of hard work goes into the sport, but I enjoy it and I am proud to represent my province at the South African nationals,” said Treyden.
