Meeting for rugby tour to be held

The tour was set to be held in March this year, however, a total of R200 000 was defrauded from the learners. 

A meeting focusing on the fate of the Kuswag Skool Namibia rugby tour is set to take place on Wednesday, 22 January, at the school from 6pm.

Details pertaining to how much money has been raised once again and whether the tour will be possible, will be discussed. Parents are urged to attend.  The tour was set to be held in March this year, however, a total of R200 000 was defrauded from the learners.

A release was issued by the school that read, “Our requirement is in the range of R10 000 per players.
“The amount includes the return airfare to Walvis Bay via Cape Town, travelling costs, meals, accommodation and tournament fees. The school undertakes to make every effort to recognise the company or individual in an appropriate manner after consultation,” the letter read.
