- Loud squeal when you hit the brakes: Brake pads or discs are probably worn and need to be replaced.
- Steering wheel vibration: Get your wheels aligned.
- Wipers stutter: The rubbers are uneven and need replacing.
- Whirring sound from petrol bay or engine: Your fuel pump could be starting to fail.
- Distinct ‘clunk’ after you go over a speed bump: Most likely your shock absorbers need attention.
- Clicking or popping noise when turning: Your CV joints are most likely worn.

- Screeching sound when revving: The fan belt is probably loose.
