The 10th anniversary of Sappi Scottburgh MTB and Trail Run weekend will see the offering boldly expanded to a whole weekend of family fun with the addition of a variety of trail running events to supplement the well-established MTB options on the weekend of 21 and 22 July.
The funky pants trail runs of 16km, 10km and 5km will take place on Saturday, 21 July, while the choice of 45km, 28km and 10km Sappi Scottburgh MTB races will take centre stage on Sunday, 22 July.
The Sappi Scottburgh MTB Race will once again raise money for the Cycling For Mobility cause, and will form the second leg of the South Coast MTB Series, and the sixth event of the Quattro ROAG Series.
The funky pants Scottburgh trail runs start and finish at Scottburgh Main Beach.
8am – 18km; 8.15am – 10km; 8.30am 5km run and walk. Registration is on Saturday, 21 July from 6.30am to 7.45am at Scottburgh Lifesaving Club clubhouse. Contact Billy Harker on 082-654-6542.
