Bodley and Elaine win mixed 2-4-2 at Winkle BC
Wednesday and Friday afternoon social bowls was once again well attended.

ELAINE Critchlow and Brian Bodley were overall winners of the Clearwater Spur mixed 2-4-2 played on Saturday, 20 January.
Second session was taken by Brian Cox and Elmarie Young.
The 100 board winner was Elaine Critchlow.
Shirley De Wee played in the Port Natal women novice singles on Saturday. She won both games and has thus won through to the next round. Shirley, the club is proud of you. She is wished good bowling for the next round.
Wednesday and Friday afternoon social bowls was once again well attended. Lynn Fitzsimmons won the Friday evening attendance draw.
There will be a Friday evening meal again this week. Notify Trish before Friday, or place your name on the notice board if you wish to attend. This is for catering reasons.
Diarise the following dates: The Eagle Canyon Spur mixed 2-4-2 will be played this Saturday morning at the usual 8.30am for 9am. There will be the usual bring and braai after the game. The women’s Winkle trips will be played on Thursday, 1 February at 8am for 8.30am.
Starting time for social bowls is at the summer starting time, which is 2.30pm for 3pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. Winkle BC wishes Brian Cox, Robbie Dee, Bruce Campbell, Andre Gelderblom and Pieter du Preez a happy birthday and a blessed year ahead.
Prayers and thoughts are with Wessie van der Westhuizen who is recovering from an operation.
