A busy weekend is coming up at the club this weekend with the Port Natal inter-district women’s fundraiser on Thursday, 31 November and Friday, 1 December.

Good bowling to all, and hopefully the weather will be kind.

At TGIF the 100 board was won by Linda McGregor. Heidi Smith’s tab number was drawn in the attendance draw, but sadly she was not there to claim the prize. Next week’s draw will be worth R250. Les Brown’s key did not open the box – hard lines Snoopy. Next week’s key draw will be worth R8,950.

It was with great sadness that the club learnt of the death of one of its bowlers, Owen Turner who also worked at the club as barman in the recent past. Condolences go to his brother Reg and the rest of his family and friends.

Grocery and other items are being collected for the Christmas hamper to be raffled. All donations are appreciated.

Many happy returns are wished to Lesley Stephens-Viviers on 4 December. Good bowling and the best of health to all members.
