Umzinto set to host red-hot rally action

Organisers invite the community to attend the event, promising top class entertainment and an unforgettable rally racing action.

The final round of the Scottair Natal Rally Championship 2017 consisting of rally cars, off-road vehicles and quad bikes will be held at Drumdarroch, Umzinto on Saturday, 25 November.

Organisers invite the community to attend the event, promising top class entertainment and an unforgettable rally racing action.

The rally kicks off at 1pm and consists of a total of six stages. Spectator entrance is free.

Four of the stages will be run during the day, then after a short dinner break, competitors will bolt on their spotlights and head off into the night to compete in the last two stages. The event will prove an exciting experience, offering great entertainment for all who attend.

With just a short 30km drive inland from the Umzinto North/Park Rynie N2 offramp (exit 104), take your family and friends along to view the cars and hardworking crews in the service park (GPS: 30°16’28.3″S 30°28’50.9″E). Then head off to the spectator point just 2km down the road (GPS: 30°16’31.0″S 30°27’37.1″E) to watch the vehicles flying through one of the fastest sections of the stage.
