First team beats Glenashley in tennis league encounter

On Wednesday, 26 April the first team will travel to Umhlali to play against North Coast 2

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club results from the midweek league played on Wednesday, 19 April.

The first team had a 4-2 win over Glenashley 1 and the second team lost to a strong Chiltern 1 team.

On Wednesday, 26 April the first team will travel to Umhlali to play against North Coast 2 and the second team is at home against Hillcrest 1. On Wednesday, 3 May, Toti 1 plays at home against Kloof 2 and the second team is away to Glenashley 2.

Social players are to note there will be two courts available for play.

The Saturday mixed doubles league fixtures have been received and posted on the club notice board. There is still time to enter your name should you wish to be considered for one of the two teams entered. Each team will consist of three men and three women. Selections will take place soon.

Social tennis continues on Saturday afternoons. The development clinic for primary school children takes place on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Free coaching is available for children keen to learn the game. Racquets are available for use and children must wear suitable shoes.
