Congratulations to Elaine, Lou Lou and Sylveigh

The winner of the attendance draw on Friday evening was Norma Raath.

LOU Lou Bingham, Elmarie Young and Wilma Richter were the victors over Elaine Critchlow, Joyce Mackrory and Lynn Fitzsimmons in the first leg of the women’s nominated trips at Winklespruit Bowling Club.

Overall winners of the men’s Clearwater Spur 2-4-2 were Ken Leach and Wessie van der Westhuizen. Second session was taken by Gerald Chalder-Royle and Doug Walton.

Elaine Critchlow was the winner of the 100 board.

Alan Raubenheimer, Pipa Hanel and Cedric Kruger were overall winners of the Eagle Canyon Spur trips on Saturday. Runners-up were Elaine Critchlow, Freddy Hetterscheidt and Brian Bodley. Sylveigh Ananiadis won the 100 board.

The Moving On Fellowship bowls day competition has been re-scheduled to Sunday, 30 April, due to the weather not being favourable on Sunday, 19 March.

Congratulations to Elaine Critchlow, Lou Lou Bingham and Sylveigh Ananiadis who won through to semi-finals with the Port Natal womens trips on Sunday. WBC wishes them good bowling for next week-end when they will play their next game.

There was an evening meal on Friday evening which was well attended. The meal was thoroughly enjoyable and the club thanks Trish Farmer, Wilma Richter and Cathy du Plooy for making this possible.

Social bowls will be played on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, with the starting time of 2.30pm for 3pm.

Winkle BC wishes Stephanie and Corrie Delport a happy birthday, which they will be celebrating in the week ahead. Prayers and thoughts are with Barry Hilton who is not well and Mac Mackrory for a speedy recovery after the operation.
