AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club (ATC) holds its Sandra Cup tournament along with the opening of its ‘new’ courts on Saturday, 18 February.
Be at the club at 12.30pm for 1pm to allow the draw for partners to take place.
Format will be mixed doubles. Entry fee is R50 which includes a boerie roll. After the prize-giving the club will light the fire and host a bring and braai. Salads and a dessert will be provided.
ATC looks forward to a great turnout for this event. There is still time to enter the Valentine tournament happening on Saturday, 18 February at Mitchell Park. Details are on the notice board.
The development clinic for primary school children has commenced for the first school term. If your child shows an interest in learning to play tennis, take them down to the courts on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Madi and Gabriel are on hand to show the children how it’s done. Tennis racquets are available for use and children should ideally wear tennis type shoes.
