SOCIAL tennis was enjoyed by all at Amanzimtoti Tennis Club on Saturday afternoon.
The weather was unpredictable so there were a lot of missing players, but those who turned up had a good afternoon.
Once again a reminder of the year-end function, details of which are on notice board. Joan is still waiting for final results of all the league fixtures from ETA. These will be posted as soon as they are received. Keep an eye on the noticeboard for details of other happenings during the last few months of the year. A big thank you to Lynne who is once again spending time sorting out the gardens.
A collection box is in the clubhouse on Wednesday and Saturday for donations for the Christmas hamper. This is another fundraising initiative and the club needs support from all members.
The development clinic is happening again on Saturday mornings for the last school term. All budding tennis players are welcome at the courts from 9am to 10am. Madi and Gabriel will be there to show how it’s done.
Members are also asked to remember the Bobbi Bear collection box in the clubhouse. All donations of food and toiletries for abused children will be greatly appreciated.
