WINKLESPRUIT Bowling Club’s annual green maintenance has commenced and is progressing well.
The committee sincerely appreciates the sterling effort of John Scott, Tony Fitzsimmons, Gert Richter, Dries Snyman, George Cormack, Eddie Bingham and Brian Farmer in giving up their time to assist with the green maintenance.
The attendance draw was won by Barry Hilton on Friday evening. As he was not present it will be a carry over.
The Friday evening meal was once again a great success with good attendance. The atmosphere was great with everyone enjoying the friendly company.
Bowlers can look forward to a Friday evening meal this week. Indicate your interest for catering reasons on the list on the board, or call Trish on 082-483-5875.
The green has been closed for annual maintenance since Monday, 17 October for between four and six weeks. All are welcome to enjoy the friendly atmosphere with fellow bowlers on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 3pm onwards. Friday evening meals will still be available while the green is closed.
Congratulations to everyone celebrating their birthdays during the week and a speedy recovery to all who are unwell.
