FINALLY Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s last two women’s doubles matches were played on Saturday.
The first team was beaten by Bellevue 1 and the second team had a great 4-0 win over Mitchell Park.
All league fixtures have now been completed so it’s back to social games for all on Saturday afternoons. Joan thanks all the players who committed themselves to league fixtures which was a very drawn-out affair this year. Keep an eye on the noticeboard for details of happenings during the last few months of the year.
The club’s development clinic is happening again on Saturday mornings for the last school term. All budding tennis players are welcome at the courts from 9am to 10am. Madi and Gabriel will be there to show them how it’s done. Members are asked to remember the Bobbi Bear collection box in the clubhouse. All donations of food and toiletries for abused children will be greatly appreciated.
