Night bowls to light up Winkle BC
The men’s 2-4-2 will be played on Thursday, 29 September at Winkle BC starting at 8.30am for 9am.

MIKE and Di Kruger beat Eddie Bingham and Trish Farmer in the mixed nominated pairs played on Wednesday at Winklespruit Bowling Club and Allan Duncan and Sylveigh Ananiadis were victorious over Brian Bodley and Elaine Critchlow.
The attendance draw on Friday evening was won by Barry Hilton.
Everyone present enjoyed the Friday evening meal. The atmosphere was great, as the club house buzzed with laughter and conversation. The club thanks Alan and Cynthia Raubenheimer for donating the delicious meal, Piet and Annalie Pienaar for the scrumptious pudding and to the anonymous donor for donating the salads.
Overall winners of the mixed Clearwater Spur 2-4-2 played on Saturday, 17 September were Mike and Di Kruger. Second session was won by Martin Young and Trish Farmer.
Social bowls will be played on Wednesday and Friday afternoon, starting at 1.45pm for 2pm.
A Friday evening meal will be available once again this Friday. Indicate on the list if you will be partaking in the meal before Friday or call Trish at 082-483-5875, for catering reasons.

As prize-giving is to take place in a few weeks’ time, members are to complete their club competitions as soon as possible.
Congratulations to everyone celebrating their birthdays during the week and a speedy recovery to all those who are not well. Prayers and thoughts are with everyone, especially to Piet Barnard who is not well.
