What a day for WSLC open day

Everyone enjoyed the additional exhibitions in between including a 'mock sea rescue' which had parents and children glued to the sea.

WARNADOONE Lifesaving Club held its open day on 9 August.

So much fun had by all, with even the weather playing its part with sunshine and beautiful sea conditions.

The response was awesome from micro nippers and nippers (eight to 14-years-old) along with many other interested juniors and seniors. The children were enthralled with various beach events to sea events and even an obstacle course that kept them smiling and busy from the moment they arrived.

Everyone enjoyed the additional exhibitions in between including a ‘mock sea rescue’ which had parents and children glued to the sea. What a sight it was for all to see other exhibitions from SA champions who are Warnadoone’s very own seniors. They thrilled everyone with their speed in the run off relay, being challenged by some of the U12s along with flags and various water activities.

Thank you to all the parents who took their children down to see and join in on the fun while learning about lifesaving.

The season has started so go down and join in on Friday evenings from 5pm to 6pm and Sunday mornings from 8.30am to 11.45am.
