Tennis round robin washed out

The men’s team plays at home against Midlands 2 on Sunday, 31 July.

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club’s planned round robin due to take place last Saturday was unfortunately totally washed out.

On Wednesday, 20 July the women’s first team recorded a great win against Glenashley 5–1.

Good start to the league. On Wednesday, 3 August the first team will play away against Chiltern 1 and the second team plays at home against Chiltern 2. Players will be contacted each week.

Social players are to note that there will only be two courts available during league. On Saturday, 30 July, the first women’s team will play away against Kloof 1 and the second team will be away against Coastal Breeze at Westridge. All courts are available for social players.

The club’s development clinic opened on Saturday, 23 July with 17 children on the court. Thanks to Chantelle who assisted with one group. If your child shows an interest in tennis, take them down to the club on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. There are racquets available for use and children must wear suitable shoes. Madi and Gabriel will be there to show the children how to play the game.
