AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club’s annual general meeting is scheduled for Saturday, 18 June at 3.30pm.
Players who arrive early may have some social games prior to the meeting.
It is important for all members to attend this meeting.
The midweek women’s second team has one match to play against Hillcrest at home. This match will have taken place on Wednesday, 15 June. All midweek league results will be advised as soon as these are received.
Members are to note that the men’s and women’s doubles league is due to commence on Saturday and Sunday, 30 and 31 July. Lists are on the notice board for entries. The club’s development clinic is still happening on Saturday mornings between 9am and 10am, where Madi and Gabriel coach all school-going children who are interested in learning the game. The club has some racquets available and asks players to wear suitable shoes. As the number of children attending the clinic grows, the club appeals to its members to assist with the training for just an hour. Those who can help are asked to simply be there by 9am on Saturday mornings.
