IN the men’s senior singles, Mike Kruger beat Dries Snyman.
Eddie Bingham and Trish Farmer were victors over Bill and Linda Hobbs in the second round of the mixed nominated pairs.
Adrian Morrison and Freddy Hetterscheidt were the winners over Eddie Bingham and Cedric Kruger in the first round of the men’s nominated pairs.
Overall winners of the Kwik Spar men’s trips which was played on Thursday, 9 June were Coy Schrauwen, Guelfo Cobianchi and Barry Simpson. Doug Walton, Keith Berry and Brian won the second session. The 100 board was won by Gerald Chalder-Royle.
On Friday evening, the attendance draw was won by Elaine Critchlow. As she was not present, it will be a carry over.
The sixth round of the men’s interclub league was played against Northlands B on Saturday, 11 June and was won by the Winklespruit team. In the second round of the women’s interclub league, the Winklespruit women’s league team won one and lost one against Hillary. The seventh round of the men’s interclub league will be played at Toti Bowling Club against Toti on Saturday, 18 June.
The Steve Evenwel mixed 2-4-2 was played on Sunday, 12 June. Overall winners were Mac and Joyce Mackrory. First session winners were Freddie Hetterscheidt and Pipa Hanel. Second session went to Mike and Di Kruger. The first 100 board winner was Elly Cox and the second 100 board was won by Colin Coetzee.
There will be social bowls on Wednesday and Friday afternoon, with the winter starting time of 1.45pm for 2pm applying.
