Toti puts its stick in at mini hockey tournament

Mention must be made of the U7s who played in their first tournament and showed they are a team to be reckoned with in the future.

PLAYERS from the U7, U9 and U11 age groups from the Toti Hockey Academy participated in an inter club hockey tournament at Crawford North Coast on Sunday, 5 June.

They played between seven and nine matches each and gave of their best in all their games.

It was good to see, especially the players who have been part of the academy for a year already, showing off their stick work skills and playing with confidence. It was also a delight to watch how the children played together as a team and supported each other in their matches. Good sportsmanship was evident throughout.

Mention must be made of the U7s who played in their first tournament and showed they are a team to be reckoned with in the future.

Thanks to the parents for their help and support and to Jessica and Kirsty for their coaching throughout the day.
