Pool league women pocket fourth place in national champs
Interested pool players and referees are welcome to join the Sapphire Coast Pool League.
KZN Eight Ball Pool women recently took part in the 2016 PBSA national eight-ball pool championships where they made it through to the semi-finals to finish fourth overall in the B division.
Local players who took part were Julie Brown and Chloe van Rensberg with manager, Charlene Sharp and referees Liza Vorster and Rodney Brown.
Rodney Brown achieved the outstanding award of referee of the tournament.
KZN eight-ball opens championship is coming up from 9 to 15 October, for which trials are to be held end of June. The venue and date are to be confirmed and published in the coming weeks.
Interested pool players and referees are welcome to join the Sapphire Coast Pool League. League is held Wednesday night from 7pm to late. There are currently five venues and 11 teams taking part. For more information about the league, call Monica on 071-579-6957.
