AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club’s (ATC) second midweek league team played against North Coast 2 on Wednesday, 13 April.

This was a strong team and unfortunately ATC recorded a loss 2–4.

On Wednesday, 20 April the first team plays away at Kloof and the second team has a bye.

All courts will be available for social. Wednesday, 27 April is a public holiday and no matches are scheduled.

On Saturday, 23 April the first mixed doubles team will play against Coastal Breeze 1 at the Westridge courts. The second team will play at home against North Coast 2. Two courts will be available for social games.

There was a great turn-out of enthusiastic young learners at the development clinic on Saturday morning. All youngsters who are interested in learning the game should go down to the courts between 9am and 10am on Saturdays where Madi and Gabriel will show them how it’s done.

There are some racquets available and players are asked to wear suitable shoes. As the number of children attending grows, club members are asked to assist with the training. It is just one hour of their time, and if they can help, they should be at the club by 9am on Saturdays.

Maintenance at the club is ongoing and a huge thank you is extended to all members who get involved with whatever needs to be done. The club’s AGM is scheduled for Saturday, 18 June. Watch the notice board for details of this important meeting.
