WITH 39 days to go to this year’s Comrades Marathon, a group of Amanzimtoti Athletics Club members did a training run from Pietermaritzburg to Kearsney College on Sunday.
Well done to all who took part.
Toti AC will be supporting the Amanzimtoti Lions at the Highland Gathering this year. The club needs members to work in the beer tent on the lower field in two hour shifts starting at 10am. Weekly time trials are on Wednesday with walkers starting at 5.30pm and runners from 6pm (both over 4km and 8km). Visitors are welcome to join. Meet at the clubhouse at Hutchison Park. On Saturdays there is an 11km run and walk from the clubhouse at 5.30am for walkers and 6am for runners. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served afterwards.
