Colin and Martiens win men’s 2-4-2

THE overall winners for the Winklespruit Bowling Club men’s 2-4-2 played on Thursday, 31 March were Colin Coetzee and Martiens Botha.
Second session winners were Les John and Ken Baker.
Herbie Hofmann was the winner of the 100 board. The attendance draw on Friday was won by Chris Bester. As he was not present it will be a carry over.
On Friday, 8 April there will be an evening meal. Put your names on the list on the notice board for catering reasons. All are welcome.
The Steve Evenwel mixed trips will be played on Sunday, 10 April. There will be a bring and braai after the game for those who are interested. Indicate availability to play on the list on the notice board. Women are to remember the twinkle trips on Wednesday, 13 April. Men should remember the men’s trips on Thursday, 14 April.
There will be social bowls on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Take note that the starting time for Wednesday and Friday social bowls is 2.15pm for 2.30pm, until further notice. Members must start playing their club competitions.
Congratulations to everyone celebrating their birthdays during the week and a speedy recovery to all those who are not well. The club’s prayers and thoughts are with everyone.
