Midweek women’s tennis league starts in fortnight

The club's development clinic continues to happen from 9am to 10am each Saturday morning during school terms.

SOCIAL tennis continues on club days at Amanzimtoti Tennis Club during the Easter period until league commences in April.

Mixed doubles league is due to start on Saturday, 9 April.

A list for members keen to play in one of the two teams is on the notice board. The fixtures will be put up as soon as received from ETA.

Midweek women’s league fixtures are now on the notice board as well as a list for prospective players. Once again two teams have been entered and play commences on Wednesday, 6 April.

The club’s development clinic continues to happen from 9am to 10am each Saturday morning during school terms. As such, the clinic is now in recess for the duration of the school holidays. All youngsters who are interested in learning the game, can do so with Madi and Gabriel who will be there to show them how its done when the lessons resume on Saturday, 9 April. The club provides some racquets and players are urged to wear suitable shoes. As the number of children attending the clinic grows, the club appeals to its members to assist with the training. It is just one hour of their time, and if they would like to help, just show up by 9am on a Saturday.
