Toti swells Youth Duikers’ ranks

Amanzimtoti Junior Rugby Club will once again have players and a coach representing the KZN Youth Duikers at the annual inter-provincial club tournament in Johannesburg at the University of Johannesburg from 5 to 10 October.
The four boys who made the cut are Jaco Strauss (U13), Michael Haywood and Dyfan Taute (U15) and Tristan Ceronio (U16).
Chairman, Fly van Schalkwyk was also selected as the U15 team head coach.
“With Colt club rugby slowly dying off because of the lack of players, it is nice to see that Toti junior rugby can still produce players and coaches who can compete at higher levels and in tournaments like this,” said vice-chairman, Sakkie Venter.
“We wish them the very best for the tournament and believe they will have a memorable experience.”
