Women tennis 1sts overpower Midlands 6-0
The development clinic has started once again on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am.
IN the mid-week league, Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s second team drew their match against Hillcrest.
In the women’s match played on Saturday against Midlands, Toti won 6-0.
The men’s match played on Sunday against Prospect 2 saw them unfortunately lose to very strong opposition. Matches scheduled for Wednesday, 19 August will see the first team away to Glenashley and second team away to Chiltern 1.
All the courts are available for social games. On Saturday, 22 August the club’s women’s team plays at home against Kings Park and on Sunday, 23 August the men travel to Hillcrest for their match.
On Saturday there will be only two courts available for social games until the league match is complete.
It is with sadness that the club records the death of Ronnie Youngman in Australia. Ronnie was a member of Toti Tennis Club for many years prior to his relocation to Australia. Condolences are sent to Beryl and family.
The development clinic has started once again on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Take your children down to the club for an hour of coaching by Madi and Gabriel. There are some tennis racquets available for use and children should ideally wear suitable tennis shoes.
