Weather postpones midweek tennis league fixtures
There are some tennis racquets for use and children should ideally wear suitable tennis shoes.
THE first round of Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s midweek women’s league matches were not played last Wednesday due to the weather.
These two matches will be re-scheduled.
Hopefully this week’s matches will be played. The first team will travel to Umhlali to play North Coast 1 and the seconds are at home against Chiltern 2. Men’s and women’s weekend doubles are due to commence on 15 and 16 August respectively. Fixtures will be posted on the noticeboard during the next week and players will be contacted.
The development clinic has started once again on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Take your children down to the club for an hour of coaching by Madi and Gabriel. There are some tennis racquets for use and children should ideally wear suitable tennis shoes.
