Mixed results for mixed doubles tennis teams

On Saturday, 14 March the first team plays at home against Durban North 2.

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club played mixed doubles league matches on Saturday.

The first team had a good win over Hillcrest 3 by four matches to two.

The second team were unfortunate to lose to Kloof 2 by just two sets.

On Saturday, 14 March the first team plays at home against Durban North 2. The second team has a bye so their matches are now completed. Courts will be available for social games.

Midweek women are to note that a round robin will be held on Wednesday, 1 April. Details are on the notice board. Midweek league commences on Wednesday, 15 April so enter your name on the notice board list if you wish to be considered for the teams. The club’s development clinic for primary school and upwards children is held on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. If your child is interested in learning more about the game of tennis, take them down to Toti Tennis Club. There are some tennis racquets on loan for the hour. Ideally they should also wear sports shoes. If there are tennis members who wish to help Madi with this, go on down to the courts, the assistance will be greatly appreciated. The clinic will be held every Saturday morning during the school terms.
