AT Winklespruit Bowling Club, all the draws for the 2015 inter-club competitions are posted on the noticeboard.

On Wednesday, 14 January, the Caltex twinkle trips was played. Overall winners were Gladys Yelland, Lulu Bingham and Trish Farmer. The second session winners were Estelle van der Merwe, Elaine Critchlow and Lynette van Vuuren. Linda McGregor won the 100 board draw and Sandy Snyman won the mystery prize.
On Thursday, 15 January, some bowlers represented Winklespruit at Umkomaas Bowling Club in their monthly mixed fours. The overall winners were the husband and wife team of Harry and Lynette van Vuuren and Dries and Sandy Snyman. The monthly Clearwater Spur competition was played on Saturday, 17 January. All the prizes were won by husband and wife teams. It again was no surprize that the overall winners were Mac and Joyce Mackrory. The first session was won by Martin and Elmarie Young and the second session winners were Brian and Trish Farmer. The 100 board draw was won by Glen Martin. Congratulations also go to Harry and Lynette van Vuuren for winning their individual games in the Port Natal novice singles championship. The next round will be played at Durban Bowling Club on Saturday, 24 January. We wish them and Dries Snyman all the best.
