ON Tuesday, 14 October, Winklespruit Bowling Club enjoyed a well-supported pensioners league competition.
The overall winners were W Richardson, C Howes, E Lochner and N Smith from Wanderers Bowling Club.
The 100 board draw was won by Big Al and the whiskey raffle was won by Jumbo. Despite poor weather on Friday, 17 October, the Friday dinner was well supported. The attendance draw was won by Di Kruger.
Rainy weather did not deter players from completing the monthly Clearwater Spur mixed 2-4-2 held on Saturday, 18 October. Overall winners were Mac and Joyce Mackrory. Second session winners were Greg Davidson and Lulu Bingham. The woollen blanket raffle was won by Annelie Pienaar and the Australia wall clock was won by Maureen Warrior. The social club was well supported after the bowls and the rugby semi-finals were enjoyed by all.
