Winklespruit BC on social membership drive

NOT many Winklespruit Bowling Club competitions took place last week.
The players who represented the club elsewhere did well with good scores overall.
The social bowls on Wednesday and Friday was well supported. Yvonne Appleby won the weekly attendance draw.
Some members played in the Doug Watson tournament in Margate during the weekend of 20 September. A total of 68 bowlers participated over the two day competition. Winklespruit bowlers had mixed results but a well-organised tournament was enjoyed by all.
The club now has DSTV with all the sports channels. Family and friends are welcome. Non-bowlers are welcome to join the social club and watch the rugby.
