Nipper season kicks off at Winkle SLC

Many thanks to all the nipper parents and other parents who helped with the catering and general arrangements.

WINKLESPRUIT Surf Lifesaving Club nipper season kicked off in fine style this past Sunday with the weather playing its part.

What a wonderful response the club received for its open day and the children certainly had fun.

Many thanks to all the nipper parents and other parents who helped with the catering and general arrangements.

Thanks also go to all the active lifeguards that acted as safety officers. Parents are to take note that nipper training takes place every Sunday from 8.30am to 10.30am and all children are more than welcome.

There were also retests, LA training and the weekend duty squad on the go, so Winklespruit beach was certainly a hive of activity.

The downstairs racking has certainly created some order in the craft room, thanks go to Gary Lloyd, Skye Prato and Neville Hazell for doing this project.

All active members are to monitor the internal communication as fitness training has started, contact club captain, Gareth Hazell for details if you have any queries.
