Brilliant win for Dan in yearling series
Doug had the best time followed by Basil having a brilliant race to fill the bulk of the result.
TOTI Racing Pigeon results for the race from Vrede (North) and Kestel (West) on Saturday, 5 July:
“It certainly was as predicted – the Calm before the storm”.
It was a mad rush by the transport team to get the birds up early to allow them to get home before the South Westerly cold front hit.
This was the first race of the yearling series and Danny Bradshaw came home from Vrede, with a brilliant win and to crown it all he was first overall in Durban. Very well done Dan. Close behind him was Doug Fry’s bird followed by Basil Tait.
From the West, Doug had the best time followed by Basil having a brilliant race to fill the bulk of the result.
These fantastic little birds managed to average 109Km per hour in exceptionally hot conditions.
