Good turnout for social tennis
Winter men’s and women’s doubles league commences on 26 and 27 July respectively.
THERE was a good turnout for Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s social tennis on Saturday, although it was tough playing in the wind.
Thanks to Leigh for organising the strawberries and cream, which was enjoyed by all.
A July draw was done and the winners were Hans and Robin. Thanks to all who participated.
The winter men’s and women’s doubles league commence on 26 and 27 July respectively. Notices are on the notice board giving all the details and fixtures. Add your name to the lists if you wish to be considered for a team. One men’s and two women’s teams have been entered.
On Wednesday, 23 July the midweek women’s league starts, the duration being five weeks. A list for names of players who wish to considered for selection is on the notice board. Two teams have been entered. Selections for the teams will be done within the next week, so if you still have to put your name forward, do so as soon as possible. Joan is your contact for league.
