Old Boys travel to Maclear for Usher Cup rugby

The club is still short of numbers and requests any player interested in joining, to go to the club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5.30pm.

THIS coming Saturday morning, Scottburgh Old Boys will travel 400km to Maclear, the home of the Kapaailand Rugby Club, to play the 15 man game in the historical Usher Cup competition.

After a very slow start to the 2014 season, the old boys are finally putting a side together that should be the A side for the year. Many players will probably have to play for the second side on Wednesday evenings, as well as for the A side in Durban on Saturdays.

The club is still short of numbers and requests any player interested in joining, to go to the club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5.30pm.

Congratulations to Conrad Kleinhans and Tyron Leech on being part of the Southern Natal 10s side which triumphed at Kings Park last Saturday. Well done champs.

Once again, thanks are extended to all sponsors and supporters of the Scottburgh Old Boys Rugby Club.
