Lyn wins round robin point singles match

Dennis Tarboton, John ‘Twinkle Toes’ Ferguson and Keith Jenkins picked the drawn numbers for Friday night's meat draw.

TWO domestic bowls matches took place over the weekend.

In the nominated mixed pairs, Arthur Carlyle and Daphne Els prevailed over Colleen Blenner-Hassett and Andy Cloete to win 23-16.

Lyn Carlyle had a walk in the park to beat Rosa Vincent 100-44 in the women’s round robin point singles.

Norman Moore has offered his services to coach any bowlers who want to learn more about bowls or iron out any quirks that have crept into their deliveries or anyone just starting their bowling careers.

He is available at Woodlands Bowling Club every Monday morning or afternoon and can be contacted on 082-455-2435082-455-2435 to arrange appointments. His services are free of charge. A reminder that the South Coast pensioners league started on Monday, 10 March at Amanzimtoti. There will be bingo in the tabs room on Wednesday, 26 March at 7pm. All welcome.
