Scottburgh rugby to contest two leagues this season

The club is holding a gold day at Selborne Golf Club on Sunday, 23 February.

AFTER a good outing at the South Coast Warriors sevens tournament, Scottburgh Old Boys Rugby Club is now gearing up for 1 March, when they will take part in the East Griqualand 10’s at Kokstad.

The old boys are fielding two sides this season.

The first XV will play in the Durban leagues on Saturdays while the second XV will play in the Southern Natal B league on Wednesday evenings. Half of both sides’ matches will be played at home.

Due to the tremendous heat and humidity of late, practise attendance has not reached the required numbers as yet. Any players interested in joining the club should show up at the country club on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 6pm.

The club is holding a gold day at Selborne Golf Club on Sunday, 23 February. If interested, call Steve 082-461-4606082-461-4606 or Andy on 083-501-3380083-501-3380.

The old boys thank Halfway Toyota and Country Ford Port Shepstone for their sponsorship again this season.
