Mixed league tennis players wilt against strong opponents

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club’s mixed league matches were played on Saturday in the extreme heat.

Unfortunately both out teams lost to strong opposition, the 1st team against Glenashley 1 and the 2nd team against Hillcrest 5.

Fixtures for this week are 1st team at home against Kings Park 1 and the 2nd team will travel to Westridge to play Tills 1. Courts will be available for social games. Social women’s tennis continues on Wednesday mornings.

Watch the notice board for details of the Hillcrest trophy league to commence on 16 April. Get well wishes are extended to Les Bartholomew, who has recently undergone double knee replacements.
