RWFL gets back on the road

Saturday there will be a 12km run/walk at 5am from Amanzimtoti High School.

ON Saturday morning, Run Walk For Life (RWFL) Toti athletes got down to business by tackling their first training run of the year.

Most athletes kept themself going over the holiday period and they took the 15km run in their stride. This shows their commitment, and bodes well for 2014 being a good year for RWFL Toti athletes.

Make your new year resolution a reality by losing weight, getting healthy or fit – RWFL can help you to set a goal and help you step by step.

As it’s a new year, athletes’ ASA membership is up for renewal. While ASA has increased the licence fees, RWFL has kept it the same as 2013. RWFL members pay only R120 to belong to the athletic club which includes an ASA number. The rest will pay R250. No registration fee forms are available at the training sessions.

RWFL appreciates the support of various clubs, athletes and walkers who attend their walks and runs. For your safety, wear bright-coloured clothing and reflective wear to increase your visibility.

Members are reminded that training days are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5pm at Amanzimtoti High School.
