EDITOR – I have a request that I be allowed to say thank you, in your letters to the editor section to someone who really did a very kind deed last Friday, 30 November.
A friend and I were at the coffee shop at Seadoone having a snack, when a woman known to my friend came up to us and spoke to him before leaving.
When it was time to pay, we were told the bill had already been settled by the woman in question. We were very surprised by her actions, what a nice thing to do. I do not know the person in question and can only hope she reads this and knows her gesture was greatly appreciated.
Many, many thanks. I hope someone does something nice for you too. All the best for the festive season.
