EDITOR – On Sunday my family and I went to Toti main beach in the afternoon.
We went to the area next to the pool to see if we could spot some little fish and in two seconds, our cooler bag with our car keys was stolen.
We searched everywhere without luck. We reported it to the beach law enforcement who were fantastic. They drove my husband around to look for the culprits while my daughter and I stayed with the car. I would also like to say thank you to the locksmiths who came out and tried until 7.45pm that evening to get our car started and moveable. Two days later, we received a call from beach law enforcement to say a security guard had spotted the thief digging our bag out of the bushes and after a chase, managed to get back our bag and car keys.
I am truly thankful to the security and law enforcement at the beach who really went the extra mile and cared. I would also like to say that while waiting by our car in the parking area, the number of drug deals I saw was absolutely shocking and really upsetting.
