EDITOR – After all the bad news that we read every day, it’s time for a happy tale as that is what 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue is all about.

We have been busy at the GJ Crookes Hospital for some time now and are happy to report that the hospital management and their committee are fully on board with our feeding and sterilising programme.

Since we started feeding these very vulnerable creatures, they have stopped going into the hospital wards looking for food. We have sterilised all of them, so the breeding has also stopped which is such a blessing. Staff at the hospital have been informed not to interfere with the cats so all is good and everyone is happy – cats included. Uncle Tom and Cheeky Boy especially.

Thank you Mr Reddy, you have been a strong supporter of our work from the start and I’m sure that without you pushing for recognition for what we do, we would not have had such a success story to tell.

To Daphne, Olie and all the women who help to feed the ferals, thank you from 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue committee, myself and all those beautiful woolly four-pawed ones.
