Join CCPO to do something about crime

With crime in our town being what it is, I urge anyone who is not a member of the CCPO to make the effort to join.

EDITOR – On Wednesday, 1 March, we had an intruder gain access to our property in Lewis Drive, Amanzimtoti.

Thankfully our vigilant neighbours, Marilyn and Owen Noome, noticed something was not right and set the wheels in motion and called me.

While I was en route to my home, another friend Anne Turck phoned Blue Security, CCPO and the SAPS.

The response was phenomenal. By the time I arrived home, CCPO and Blue were already at the scene.

The intruder was found hiding in the ceiling and was apprehended.

With crime in our town being what it is, I urge anyone who is not a member of the CCPO to make the effort to join. They are doing a fantastic job.

Special thanks to Owen and Marilyn and thank you to everyone who gave and offered assistance.

Thank you CCPO and Blue for the fantastic service.
