I was excited a few months ago when a new pizzeria opened and said they were providing gluten-free bases.

EDITOR – Toti has been so slow to catch on to the move towards alternative, natural health, as well as healthier eating options.

There aren’t great specialty restaurants to speak of, and even fewer healthy eateries in the area, despite the greater range that’s been available since Galleria opened several years ago.

There’s definitely a move to being more health conscious and for good reason. South Africa’s obesity and diabetes-related figures are an indication of just how unhealthy we are.

I was excited a few months ago when a new pizzeria opened and said they were providing gluten-free bases.
