Praise for prompt reaction to Mayville Terrace washaway

Trees fell, the concrete pathway fell and soil washed away, undermining our boundary wall.

EDITOR – We wish to thank all those who assisted at the wash-away outside Lagoon Point last night.

The main water pipe and the storm water pipe both burst, causing a massive washaway of the embankment into the road below, just before the Toti River bridge.

Trees fell, the concrete pathway fell and soil washed away, undermining our boundary wall. The prompt reaction from the following people averted further destruction and saved our complex from what could have been disastrous.
