Accept your unique beauty

People need to know that not everyone is perfect and that unique is beautiful.

EDITOR – Just thought I would share my success with South Coast Sun as I have come such a far way and cannot contain my excitement with my new career.

It was my ultimate dream to be a model but of course it was also many other girls’ dreams.

I got rejected from many agencies because I did not fit their criteria, yet getting rejected did not stop me. While I became very insecure over it, I did not see that as failure either. I started to realise that being different is okay and that not everyone will accept you but that does not matter anymore if you accept yourself.

I am starting to finally get noticed in the modelling world, having signed a modelling contract with Boss Models SA, and walking in runway shows for amazing, recognised designers.

I have met people from many different cultures through modelling and it has made me see the world and its people with such an open mind. People need to know that not everyone is perfect and that unique is beautiful.

I hope this can inspire others to accept their looks as there has been a lot of bullying among the youth these days, based on looks. There has to be a certain criteria to be accepted, just like with modelling agencies, but you should not let that get you down because just like the modelling world, there is someone looking for you, who thinks your looks are perfect just the way they are.
